The Big Aristotle Teaches and Preaches on Child Obesity

Shaq’s new show debuted! This article was originally scheduled to be put down before Shaq’s new show Shaq’s Big Challenge premiered June 26th at 9pm, but unfortunately yours truly was in an accident last week and I haven’t been able to sit still since. All of that is out of the way now, so a quick word on Shaq’s new show…I missed it. I know, I know, a Heat fan like myself missing an opportunity to watch the big daddy in action, especially his live reality stuff (I loved him in that series ESPN had a while back).

In case you missed not only the episode, like myself, but any announcements pertaining to the show, the premise is pretty simple. Shaq, the big daddy, takes six kids from the Broward area and tries to take them from obese to fit, with a few fart jokes along the way. Of course to help the kids out, Shaq will be following the same regimen, and professional trainers and doctors will be setting up all the events, not Shaq, to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Child obesity has become one of the most prevalent problems with the youth of America, and for the first time in a damn long time, a generation of kids is not being predicted to live longer than their parents generation. Yes, that’s how bad this problem has become. I’m no star child myself, 6′2″ and 260 pounds of me (supposedly I’m supposed to be 170 which would put me at morbidly obese, but according to my doctor, I really am big boned, so a normal weight would be somewhere between 205-215, without muscle mass).

So, the car accident stole most of my thunder. I didn’t get to write the article on time, lost most of my ideas, and to top it off, I missed the dang show. I hope to catch it this week, and hope all you other Heat fans do as well. Especially now since you know about it and have no good excuse to at least tape it and watch it later…or if you’re lucky enough, Tivo it.

So, did you watch the show?

Shaq is going to pump… you up!

Man, I should have gone to that camp and farted on people… But I heard that the show got bad ratings, so both of us should watch this week. That might double the ratings.

Bring Shaq back to L.A. Lakers.
We need the new title.

No! But can you imagine a team with Kobe, Shaq and KG?… That would be unstoppable. I don’t care who the backups are.
